I started to learn Chinese at the age of 47, and I was not sure if it was too late or maybe I were only one person in the whole world studying language at so old age. It seems funny now. So many friends at the age from 78 to 15. And I’ve learned a phrase on italki, which means good friends despite great difference in age, friendship between generations: 忘年之交 !
