One of our dreams at italki has been to translate the site into every language on the planet.  We've finally created a platform that allows the italki community to do just that!  We hope that when italki.com is available in every language, users from every corner of the world can join our community and start learning from each other.

To start helping with translations, simply log-in to your italki account and click "Join Now" on the translation page.  Then choose which language you'd like to help translate.  You'll be given the choice to either 1) translate an English phrase on the website or 2) vote on phrases that other users have translated.  Even if you don't want to translate, you can still help by voting on the best translation or commenting on other members' translations.

We're very happy so many of you have volunteered to help translate italki into your native languages.  Now, by using your language skills, you can help more people in your country get connected to the world.

We encourage everyone to become members of the Translation Team and help make italki available for your community.  Thank you for your help!  We'll make sure outstanding translators get recognition and also prizes!
